Well I have a good friend, and she takes awesome pictures and so on Sunday after church we are going to get them taken I am so so excited I can't wait. We haven't ever had them taken in the fall/winter, but always in the summer. So I m so excited to have some ones with snow in them maybe if it snows like they say it is supposed to, but you all know how the weather people are.
As soon as I get them I can get my Christmas Cards out so that will be a project that
may take awhile, if you all recall it takes me awhile to get think=gs done, in a timely matter.

I thought that I'd better blog
Okay so I haven't blogged for awhile and thought since I was home; Timberlyn and her friend are in the room playing and Draydyn is bugging them, Quentyn is with his Dad and Joey is watching Wyatt Earp. That means I have what???? QUIET TIME..... It is so nice. I really should be workinh on laundry, but that gets so old and I do it all the time, I thought I needed a break.
Well all of you will be shocked, because I still am. I went back to work at WALMART. I know you can't believe it crazy, huh? I am only going to work 2 days a week, and no weekends. So I think that it will be okay and all, I will do the comp shopping on the grocery side. They have some new orientation process and things and so for you all that worked there before also it is nothing like the "old" days. But it will be good I think anyways.
Wish me luck.

30 and Frumpy
I am officially 30 years old and according to one of my younger friends, she says once you turn 30 you are "Old and Frumpy"
It isn't anything crazy about being 30, other than I am getting bags under the eyes, and I've always sagged pretty much everywhere that it matters.
I did go to lunch with a bunch of friends and that was alot of fun. To bad that it could'nt last longer, you know hanging out with your friends for lunch.
Cara got me a way cool basket from the Little Sweet Pea and we all love that place. Thanks Cara I love ya so much and thanks to everyone that went to lunch with me it was so fun and so nice of you.

Twilight movie
So my very good friend Dena works at the theater and so I knew that they were selling the tickets on Monday and at 2:20 pm I met her up there with a few of our other friends and were the first to by tickets to the 8:00 pm showing. I was so very excited and I know it just seems as if I'm rambling around in circles which if you know me that is a usual thing.
The movie was really good, but the book is way better, and the way you picture some of the actors/actresses is different than the way they are in the movie. Don't get me wrong it was good and I would go see it again.
Picture Tag Thanks Cara for tagging me

Halloween party
Timberlyn had a Halloween party tonight for Girl Scouts and she wanted to wear her costume! I think she looks so cute as Wicked Frisky witch! Cara's daughter Anika is in the same troop so Cara took them and I picked them up. She was dressed up as a Hannah Montana! I loved Timberlyn's purple hair!) She wore it to school for crazy hair day.

Happy Halloween to All....
So life for me on Halloween is always so very busy and I am always in a rush to get to everywhere that I am supposed to go, that it just gets to be so crazy. Since the kids get out of school at 12:30 on Fridays I thought ok so I can get the kids ready and go to my Mom's and so I can get that crossed off the list early, and then go to Aunt Darcy's house and then to Nana's (since she says I never get there before 9:00 pm) ok I was there at 4:30 pm and she wasn't even home, and so then we ran into her at Darcy's house and so she got to see the kids and myself since I dressed up this year, it is so fun and I loved it because people didn't even recognize me. But anyhow while at Darcys we went over to the Mott's and rode the train and saw the wild/exotic animals and then went home and I started making dinner and getting ready for the trunk or treat, which we did in our neighborhood this year and it turned out really good, and so I am hoping that we will do it again next year.
The kids had alot of fun, at least I was able to get a picture of Draydyn but that was it he was not going to keep his costume on for nothing and so since this is the 2nd year that he hasn't dressed up I told him that I was NOT going to get him a costume next year, although I did try to talk him into something for next year and told him that all of us would dress up as this movie, but of course he wasn't for that, but the rest of us are.

Pumpkin Patch
The kids, my mom and I went to the Pumpkin Patch in Lapoint and picked out some pumpkins, well ended up with way to many pumpkins but had a lot of fun doing it.
Here are a few pics. I love taking pictures in the fall and the changing leaves and the pumpkins are great.
Draydyn and Brendyn hunting for pumpkins
Draydyn loves to make faces
My Dads house
Playing in the hay
My Dad, Joey and the kids
Draydyn checking out his new bike
So we went to my Dads house last weekend, I love to go and see my Dad and step mom, but really wish they lived closer. He lives in Casper, Wyoming and so its not like its just a short drive, but anyways we had so much fun. The kids love to hang out and ride the horses and all the bikes, and they can't ever get into any trouble, I'm sure they look for some of it.
My Dad lives on a HUGE piece of land, with 7 horses and they don't have any more cows or other live stock just 5 cats and a dog named B; just the letter. While we were there my Dad, Joey and Quentyn went to a rummage sale and Quentyn didn't know quit what to think, he has gone to a lot of yard sales and so forth but not a rummage sale, so my dad bought a 20' bike and brought him home, when Draydyn saw this bike he naturally assumed Grandpa bought it just for him and was not going to leave there without that bike so we loaded it up in the van on the day we left and brought it home, he loves his new bike that Grandpa Davis bought just for him.
They played in the hay barn, Draydyn was always falling down and thought that was the coolest and just kept falling, more on purpose I believe than clumsiness. We hung out a little with my brother, sister in law and their 3 kids, met them at the Haunted House and went through with them in the little kids not scary, so we went in the adult one and it was AWESOME, so I went again after going with Joey and my brother. Then I went with my sister in law and nephew Dylan and tried to take Quentyn he was so scared he never made it past the beginning of the haunted house, he was dead weight on the floor and I couldn't get him off the floor for anything and I laughed so hard at him I almost peed my pants. I felt so bad well kinda that Quentyn was so scared and freaked out but it was fun taking my sister in law in it because she hates being scared and I love to scare people and I love to get scared and go to Haunted Houses, it is such a thrill.

Draydyn and his mohawk
So one morning Draydyn was so worried about his hair looking cool and he said that he wanted his hair to be gangsta hair nad to look cool and so I said oh bud we should give you a mohawk and so while I was trying to convince him into letting me do it, and it did take awhile, he wasn't real sure about it. He finally let me do it and I have to admit he looked super cute with his hair in a mohawk and so he looked in the mirror and didn't really know what to think and he said he looked stupid and everyone would laugh at him, I kept telling him that he looked adorable. But then he messed up his hair and then Shelby came down and I was telling her about the mohawk and she wanted to see it and so he finally let me fix it again. I personally think he looks adorable and I'd be good letting him wear his hair like that everyday, but not Draydyn.
Quentyn's last football game
Yesterday was a great day, even though it was cold and I had the flu. Quentyn's football team the Vikings were the only team in the Basin that was Undefeated in the City leagues for tackle football. They went to the super bowl and kicked butt. They played the Cowboys; it was cool because they were able to play on the High School football field, with a announcer and the boys thought it was awesome because they even had the scoreboard. They won with a score of 36-14. Quentyn is #25.
Okay and so when I went to take pictures of course the darn battery died and so a friend that I have had for a long time was so nice to take pictures and emailed them to me. Thanks so much Tera.
I have to admit that I am sad that the season is over, I love to watch Quentyn play sports and he is so very good at them. I'm not real sure who likes to have him play more him or me, I wonder if I was more excited that they won or Quentyn. I was lets just say so darn excited that they won that game and kicked the Cowboys' butts.

Scentsy Book Party
Well everyone I am having a Scentsy Book Party and so you all know about it if you want a book to look or order just give me a call, post or email me and I will get you one. Cara hates my favorite flavor and they discontinued it make me so mad, it is Key Lime Tortilla it smells great I think, but miss Cara doesn't like it. It's a good thing I love her so much.... So I'm not sure when it will close or what not but I will let you all know. They are fun and smell good.

Just Crazy Busy
Holy since school started it has been crazy with one thing or another that I don't have time to post or maybe it is just no ambition to post, or nothing to exciting going on in our lives that is worth reporting. Some of my friends needed a new post so here we go.... And you know who you are.
We have been busy with tackle football and Quentyn, he usually has practice 2-3 times a week and games on Wednesday and Saturdays, they are the Vikings and they have won every single game. They are really good, and they just have that winning drive that they are not giving up no matter what.
And then having Webelos den meetings every Tuesday and so that takes up another hour during the day but is alot of fun and I have a great assistant Den Mother and she is so fun and I like her alot and so that makes it all the better to do scouts.
Draydyn has been spending alot of time playing with his cousin and so they take turns coming over to each others houses about 3 times or so a week, he just went on the mountain riding dirt bikes with his Dad, Grandpa Ted, Uncle Brandon and his cousin Brendyn. They had a lot of fun spending the time together. Quenytn didn't want to go because he didn't want to miss his Football game on Saturday and so we got rained on a little bit during Football but it was a GREAT game.
Timberyn well she is still saying that school is borin, but I am wondering if she isn't being challenged enough in some areas of school, but I am going to give it a little more time to see if she gets any better with it, but today it was actually so nice while we were getting ready for school, she didn't complain once while she was getting ready and that is so not like her, I think it is because she had a little puppy that Nana gave her, but we weren't going to keep it and so Nana came and got it awhile ago because Brendyn wants it and so she will have a little episode after school today because it isn't her and there is no doubt in my mind about that, it will happen I know her so well. She had a little spat with the neighbor girls(her best friends) this last week and I couldn't help feel so bad for her she was so sad, her one little friend said that she didn't want to be friends with her anymore because she wanted to play with their other little friend that they hadn't been playing much with and so when she came home she was just crying so hard and my heart just ached for her and wished I could take away the pain she had. But then one of the little firls came over just a little later after it happened to play with Timberlyn and so that has been going okay, but her other little friend still hasn't came around YET, but they did talk yesterday at church, so it's just a matter of TIME now. I can honestly say that girls and their friends always bring so much DRAMA to the house. Boys could care less about each other and can all play together no matter what happens. They are all so different from one another.

Draydyn's first day of Preschool
Sept 4, 2008
Draydyn started another year of preschool, he thinks that he is a PRO! He was so ready to get on the bus and go that he was up, ready and waiting for 45 minutes before the bus came. He didn't want his picture taken and so I tried anyways and the battery on my camera died right when I was getting ready to snap the pics. So then I had to wait to take one when he got off the bus after school. He wasn't to happy to have it taken, but believe me he did survive it. He gets a little mad because he can't go everyday like Quentyn and Timberlyn do. This is his second full year at Central Cove and they are great there. He goes on Mondays and Wendensday mornings and it is nice to have some time all by MYSELF... He wants to have homework sent home when he goes to and so we pretend he has homework and he loves it.

First Day of School
Well school is finally in session again, and me personally am so excited. I couldn't wait for this day.
When I walked to get the kids from school on the way home, I asked the kids how their first day was and Timberlyn said, "I'll tell you when we get home" I said "OK" so then I turned to Quentyn and he just said it was "OK" and then I asked him about his teacher, she is new this year to Discovery, and he said "oh she is so fat" I told him that some people just can't help it, and so as we were walking along just talking about who was in their classes, Quentyn said " you know Mom this was so funny, my teacher went to sit in her chair and it broke when she sat in it," I was totally horrified and told him" you better not have laughed at her" he said "oh my gosh Mom it was so funny, everyone was laughing", I said," Quentyn that is not funny and you better not have laughed." and so he let me think that this really happened, a while had gone by and we were almost home and he said "just kidding my teacher really didn't break her chair, but I thought that she was going to."
So we had a little talk about laughing at people, because he knows what it is like to be teased and that it hurts peoples feelings and he should really think about others first.
Timberlyn's first day was "boring", and that's the only thing she said, I thought to myself, "it's only the first day of school and she is already bored," well I guess we are off to a great start, it only took Timberlyn half of the year to get bored last year. I really do think that she is a little bored, because she is so smart and comes right home and does her homework in like 2.5 seconds and they are all correct answers and so maybe she is to smart for her own good. And totally has the best teacher!!!
Quentyn on the other hand I practically have to beat him with the wooden spoon to do his homework, and that is no lie. I told Quentyn that he really needs to concentrate on his school work and not the GIRLS!!!! I hope he will really listen to it.
Draydyn will start school on Wednesday next week and goes from 8:30 a.m- 10:40 am so that will be nice and Draydyn loves school and thinks that it is so cool that he rides the bus.

Upodate on the school clothes shopping
I think that next year I am going to send my beautiful daughter Timberlyn will somebody else to take school shopping. I love her so much but I could've killed her she takes forever and is so picky and wants EVERYTHING. Today while she was getting ready she put her way cute pink/white vans and she totally freaked out because she said exactly this " I look hidious and my shoes are so ugly and so big and fat and to much of my shoe laces are showing" Timberlyn got alot of way cute school clothes and Quentyn did to, he was just way easier and he wasn't even there to pick them out he only worries about his hair being spiked, putting on deoderant and cologne and mostly the GIRLS.
Draydyn wants to dress just like Quentyn and Joey and as long as he has is DC's or Etnies on then that is great. Life is great and I am so glad that school has started and we are on schedule again.

I am back to blogging well kinda.....
I know it has been a little bit, okay it has been a really long time since I have blogged, sorry Cara. So school has started and I couldn't be more relieved about that, Quentyn also has started practicing for tackle football 3 times a week.
School however I think went good for the kids they didn't really say awhole lot about it, Quentyn was really nervous the night before and I don't think he got much sleep. He is in the 4th grade this year and is at Discovery again, his teachers name is Mrs. Rush and seems to be nice like the Grandma type( hopefully). A few of his friends are in his class which I think makes it easier for him and then the neighbor girl, a neighbor boy and then a friend of mine daughter is in theclass so that is good.
Timberlyn was up at the crack of Dawn getting ready and was down at the neighbors house (Shelby) getting her hair done because I can't do it the right way and just the way Shelby does it so I will let Shelby do the hair, shes only 7 but already acts like she is 18 what in the world am I going to do??? Any suggestions? But she has the best teacher this year Mrs. Vicki Nelson and the great thing is that she was her kindergarten teacher so she knows Timberlyn well and she knows about everybody in her class, her best friend Laney is in the class and more of her good friends so I think that it will be a good year, I am praying anyways.
Draydyn doesn't start school until either the 3rd or 4th of September and I will find out on Thursday which one, and he is excited to go back to Central Cove and ride the school bus. The only one that rides the bus. He will go to school 2 days a week and for 2 1/2 hours a day. He can't wait to go.

School Clothes shopping
Well we are going to go school shopping on Saturday and that will be a eventful day I do believe Quentyn won't care what get him and I can get him shoes if they fit me then they will fit him so that is good, but Timberlyn is a different story big time she is such a pain and picky little thing to take to the store, good thing her Dad is going for some reinforcement and help hopefully. Draydyn he will wear anything but shirts with buttons on them. Oh man I love my kids but holy cow they sure drive me crazy sometimes I guess that is what happens when you are home with them all the time every single day.
Okay Cara now my blog is good for another 2 weeks haha loves

Quentyn
So Quentyn has been with his father since the day after his Birthday and I have talked to him maybe 2 times he has been a little busy to call his mom and so I talked to him today and he said that he was going to Lagoon again on Saturday, riding his dirt bike playing with his friend Jace before he moves to Alaska and so then Joey and I went to lunch and saw Q ball at Arbys and do you think that he cried and said he wanted to come home when he saw me? No he cried when he saw Joey and said he wants to come home and misses us, how sweet is that? I asked Joey how that makes him feel and he says pretty special. So my Q ball will be home on Tuesday and I think I am ready for him to come hom, he is a big help when hes home and then he will be starting tackle football which he is so excited for.
I know it has been forever
Cara this one is for you.
I havent even been doing anything but scrapbooking since my last post and watching nephews and I am just totally done with that. I know that sounds so rude but I have had Joeys sisters kids for a total of 1 month if you add up all the time they have been here and I am just over it.
But really all I have been doing is scrapbooking since I have like oh 10 years to catch up on because when Quentyn was born I only made like 3 pages and then just started scrapbooking again about 2 years ago so now I have 3 kids and thousands of pictures. My older sister whom lives in New Mexico is so nice she is going to help by scrapbooking some of them to help me get caught up. She is awesome thanks LeighAnn. But I have made alot of progress in the last 2 weeks I have done about 30 pages.

Memory Game
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Draydyn and the HUGE dumpster
So I have this really funny story to tell about my 4 year old Draydyn and the neighbor boy down the street, about a month ago they were playing and I hadn't seen them for about 20-30 minutes or so which isn't unlikely for those 2, but I was getting ready to go to town and needed Draydyn to come home and get changed because I knew he would be muddy, when those 2 are together they are always into something or else come back covered in mud. So I called for them outside and nothing. I then asked Quentyn if he could go and look for Draydyn in the field because they weren't at the neighbors boys house so he reluctanlty went and yelled for him and nothing kept calling for his little brother getting nervous and scared thinking the worst like big brothers do and then all of a sudden he could hear crying so he walked towards the crying. Quentyn got to where the crying was coming from and couldn't believe it was coming from a huge white dumpster that is in the middle of the field. Draydyn and his little friend climbed into the dumpster, the neighbor boy could get out but Draydyn couldn't so Quentyn being the good brother that he can be climbed in and helped them out and can I say that they were clear to the bottom of this dumpster. I am just glad that it wasn't garbage day, or they would've had a nice ride to the county landfill. Draydyn will tell you not to climb in those big white dumpsters.
Quentyn's Birthday
I can't believe it my little man is 10 years old and it just crazy. we had a party for him at the park nothing real big just some family and a few of his good friends over and it was a nice night not to hot which was really nice. We got Quentyn a scooter and a Nintendo DS and Draydyn our 4 year old has really been wanting a scooter well he saw me wrapping Quentyn's and said if he doesn't get a scooter for Quentyn's birthday then he is going to brake something of mine and trying to explain to Draydyn that it wasn't his birthday was a little difficult than it would've been to most 4 year old because he doesn't take no for an answer very well.
So Quentyn got 2 scooters for his birthday and naturally Draydyn thinks that one is his and was more excited than Quenytn, and a nintendo ds and then made out with alot of money I guess if I need a loan I will go to Quentyn.
4 wheeler ride
So this last weekend we went on a 4 wheeler ride up on the mountain by Iron Springs and then up by Little and Big Brush Creeks with the kids and Joey's sister her husband and their kids we had alot of fun and the kids loved the ride and we took them down into the caves, before we went into little brush creek cave we ate some lunch and then we went in there and so Brandon, Julie and the kids, Joey all went down before me and so I was on my way down the trail mind I tell you it is a little steep well I started out at walking then it turned into a jog and then a run and then I fell face forward and hit some trees and rocks oh my gosh it hurt but it was so funny, we laughed but I sure was sore the next day and I have so many bruises all over my arms and legs.

Trip to Texas
Well we took a family trip to Texas to see my side of the family and we had a blast it was a 21 hour drive just 1 way. So needless to say we drove there in the middle of the night, the kids were so good, at least for being in a car that long together. We left Vernal on Sunday the 6th of July around 4:30 pm and got to my Aunts house around 5:00 pm Texas time on Monday. While we were there Quentyn and Timberlyn went to day camp 4 of the 7 days that we were there and loved every second of it, they practically lived in the water. My Aunt and Uncle have a swimming pool in their back yard and they got in it when they got home from camp, I am surprised that they didn't turn into fish.
Draydyn was a little unhappy that he didn't get to go to camp, but he got to spend time with the adults and go to lunch and shopping everyday and enjoyed that and even got to go to a petting zoo. He really liked the goats and even chased them a few times. He wants to move to Texas and so does Quentyn, Joey would if it wasn't so humid.
Timberlyn doesn't want to move there but she sure didn't want to leave Aunt Barbara's, we just had so much fun there and we can't wait to go back. She made a few new friends at camp and will hopefully keep in contact with them until the next time and then they will be able to be lifelong friends.
While in Texas I was able to see an Uncle that I haven't seen in 20 years and was shocked but it was a good visit and then we went to the cemetery and was able to see where my grandparents are buried and took some pictures to add to my genealogy. I had a wonderful visit with my Aunt and Uncle and then my other Uncle and cousin, met a few of my Aunt's friends and was able to see a friend that I met when we went to New York last summer. I will always treasure the visit.
Joey had a blast riding motorcycles and he got to experience something that most people don't get to experience in their lives he rode in the Patriot Guards which is a group that ride with the funeral precession of a Armed Forces that has passed on and it was a great honor for Joey. My Uncle, Joey and my other Uncle went on 3 of them while we were there.
